Hi, Janie. Who painted this picture? Was it done recently? My dc are all sledding, and I'm making loads of granola to give as gifts. I will also be making a wild mushroom ciabatta, challah, and cinnamon/cranberry bread to give to friends and neighbors. I'm glad you like my new blog look. I wanted it to look more feminine...something that takes effort on my part (smile). All these boys make make me rough around the edges a bit. Take care. Blessings, Camy

Hi Camy,
Charles Wysocki painted this pic. These were my Christmas cards a few years ago. I like everything Wysocki! I work puzzles by him, frame them, and hang them in the house. They "fit" the rustic inside look of our house. Somewhere on this blog, I posted a pic of "Cheer Up Farm" which is a puzzle I worked and hung in our entrance hall.

Sounds like you are one buzzy bee! Today is my shopping day for ingredients for cookies and our big smorgasboard Christmas dinner. I'm doing "new" cookies this year and plan to post an entry and pic if all goes well. Your cinnamon/cranberry bread sounds great. Love 'em both! Janie

I have been a Wysocki fan for many many years. I have several needlework pictures that my mother-in-law stitched for me many years ago. Also about 30 years ago I bought my parents a large framed print of one of his church/town scenes. He is wonderful. I haven't bought one of his calendars for a few years...so I guess it's about time again :)
