17th century library in Lima, Peru's oldest convent,
La Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco,
housing over twenty thousand books

I came across this while making PowerPoint presentation for my sixth graders who begin studying the Incas and South America later this week.

Notice the spiral staircase at the back.

Stunning. A library anywhere gives me pause.

Dazzling.

It would be difficult for me to read in that library. There are too many wonderful things to look at.
